How to Get Your CT Medical Card in 3 Easy Steps
1. Schedule an Appointment
Any licensed CT provider – MD, PA, or APRN – can certify you if you have a qualifying condition.
Try your current doctor first. If they don’t offer certification, we’ll help you find one who does! Just make sure you have a document showing your diagnosis. Most providers offer an evaluation – and won’t charge you unless you qualify.
Pro tip: Avoid providers charging over $125. Prices are competitive, and you deserve a fair deal.
After your appointment, you’ll get a “Patient Certification Email” from [email protected] that includes your application instructions.
2. Submit Your Application via Biznet
Use the link in the email to create your Biznet account, activate it, and log in. Select “I am a Patient,” enter your date of birth, and check your personal info for accuracy.
Then, choose your dispensary from the dropdown – select CT Nightjar 1 to register with us in East Lyme.
You’ll need:
- Proof of ID (e.g. driver’s license, passport)
- Proof of CT residency (e.g. utility bill, lease)

Once submitted, your card is usually approved within 48 – 72 hours (subject to change dependent on applications in the queue, though the site says 30 business days).
3. Receive Your Medical Marijuana Card
You’ll get an email with the subject line: “Patient Approved.” Your digital medical marijuana card will be attached as a PDF.
